Marc Halfon received his bachelor’s degree in Biochemical Sciences from Harvard University, his Ph.D. in Biology from Yale University, and was a postdoctoral fellow of the American Cancer Society and the Medical Foundation at Harvard Medical School/Brigham & Women’s Hospital. He joined the faculty at the University at Buffalo-State University of New York in 2003, where he is currently a Professor in the Departments of Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, and Biomedical Informatics.

Dr. Azrag received her Ph.D. in Medical Entomology from the University of Khartoum and has been a member of the faculty there since 2008. She has published widely on topics relating to surveillance, ecology, and control of vector mosquitoes and other vector arthropods in Sudan.
